1. Nature of the Service
St. Johns County Residents Directory is an independent reference to public rolls, indexes, and historical collections. It does not host government records and has no connection with a St. Johns County office, Florida agency, court, or custodian.
2. Rules for Using This Site
Use the site only for lawful purposes. You may not use it, or anything found through it, to:
- Stalk, harass, intimidate, threaten, or harm any person
- Locate someone protected by a restraining or protective order
- Commit identity theft or fraud
- Make FCRA-regulated decisions (credit, employment, tenant, insurance)
- Scrape, copy, or republish the site's content at scale
- Interfere with the site's operation or security
3. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency
This site is not a consumer reporting agency as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (15 U.S.C. ยง 1681 et seq.). Nothing here, and nothing any linked search tool returns, is a consumer report, and none of it may be used to judge eligibility for credit, employment, housing, insurance, or any other FCRA-covered purpose.
4. External Services
Separate terms and privacy policies govern government portals, sponsored search providers, and other linked services. Their content, uptime, fees, and data handling are outside our control.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is offered "as is" and "as available" without warranties. Accuracy, completeness, timeliness, linked-portal operation, and search-result correctness are not guaranteed.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages tied to this service, a linked resource, or reliance on a located record.
7. Your Responsibility for Claims
You agree to indemnify and hold the site operators harmless from claims, demands, and reasonable attorneys' fees caused by misuse of the service or a breach of these terms.
8. Copyright and Site Materials
Copyright protects the original writing, design, logo, and layout. Readers may link to pages or quote short attributed excerpts, but may not republish whole pages or copy the service systematically.
9. Revisions
A revised version may be posted here. Use after its publication constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
10. Cutting Off Access
We may block or restrict any user who violates these terms or abuses the site, at our discretion and without notice.
11. Florida Governing Law
Florida law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Public-record access discussed on the site arises from Article I, section 24 of the Florida Constitution and Chapter 119, Florida Statutes; those provisions govern custodians, not this private service.
12. Severability
If any part of these terms proves unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
13. Questions
Questions about these terms go through the Contact page.
